  • Ay Yo What the Fuck Patch Description:

Even we are confused by some of the messages on our embroidered patches. The Ay Yo What the Fuck patch makes the perfect example. The second part of the phrase is easy enough to understand. As for 'ay yo', it's up for grabs.

Go take a look in any urban dictionary and you'll discover that 'ay yo' can mean any number of things. Here are just a few of the possibilities:

    • An interjection designed to get someone's attention, similar to "hey you!"
    • A phrase meant to express the fact that you are surprised by something.
    • A phrase that expresses something is weird or strange.
    • A phrase that expresses something is being taken out of context, particularly in a sexual way.

Here's the deal with this patch: you can take it to mean whatever you want it to mean. There are no rules. Just be sure you're ready to explain it to other people. They are going to ask. Have an answer you can offer with confidence. Always be prepared to explain what you mean by 'ay yo what the fuck'.

As far as the patch itself, it's a rectangular piece measuring 4 x 1.5 inches. It is the perfect size to wear on the back pocket of your favorite pair of jeans or jean shorts. If you havea denim jacket or vest, over one of the breast pockets would also be a good location. You don't have to sew it to a piece of clothing, though.

You can attach this patch to a backpack, man bag, tote, or handbag. You can glue a magnet to the back and stick it on your fridge. If you're a musician, you could glue it to your guitar case. There really aren't any rules. Seriously. Well, there is one: have fun with it.
